Counterparty Analysis Manager – Energy Trading

My client is an international energy trading company with offices in London. As they continue to enter new markets, large amounts of counterparty information have been collected but now need to be efficiently gathered, refined and presented to the appropriate internal audiences.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to lead the setup and running of the gathering and reporting processes necessary to track the relationships between the my client and its counterparties.

Duties:
• Liaise with all internal departments (in particular Trading and Origination) and subsidiary businesses to ensure counterparty meeting notes are produced and made available for counterparty analysis;
• Identify emerging sources of counterparty information both internally and externally;
• Work closely with the IT department to develop and deploy appropriate registry systems as well as integrate existing information systems;
• Responsibility for the production and dissemination of counterparty briefing documents both specific and general to the appropriate audiences throughout the group.

Experience:
• Previous experience in the energy market and / or counterparty analysis important;
• Manager or Team Leader experience important.
